La Habra, Orange County
La Habra takes its name from a pass through the Puente Hills, recorded on an 1839 land grant. The city incorporated in 1925, when citrus and avocado groves covered the valley. Its 1923 railroad depot has housed a children's museum since 1977, and the La Habra Corn Festival, with its parade down La Habra Boulevard, has been a summer tradition since 1949.
